HealthKit Permissions

Learn how to enable HealthKit write permissions for weight tracking

Problem

If you're seeing an error when trying to log your weight, it may be because Sage Weight doesn't have permission to write to Apple Health. This happens when you deny permissions during onboarding or disable them later.

Solution

Follow these steps to enable HealthKit write permissions:

1Open the Apple Health app

Launch the Health app on your iPhone

2Tap Sharing

Select "Sharing" from the bottom navigation

3Tap Apps

Select "Apps" from the menu

4Select Sage Weight

Find and tap "Sage Weight" in the apps list

5Turn On All

Tap "Turn On All" to enable all HealthKit permissions for Sage Weight

Still having issues?

If you've enabled permissions and are still experiencing problems:

  • Try force-closing and reopening the Sage Weight app
  • Make sure you're running the latest version of iOS
  • Restart your iPhone
